Creating an extra ordinary life

Don’t give up on something you want most for something you want now. 

You have to create the perfect life.

We must express gratitude for everything, both the good and the bad and after a while you realize there isn’t any bad, it’s just different. I get to choose all the good that comes to me.

Allow HF to created miracles with my faith. 

• If you (and your kids) want to like this guy in ten years from now (meaning, he’s likable) than he/ you guys need to be reading (studying) the scriptures every day (between now and then). Ex: nightly companion scripture study is one of the best gifts we can give ourselves and our Marriage.

You are enough. While it’s easy for me to say that, having you know that is another thing. 

Our works will never be enough. Teach grace. Teach them to look to the savior. Teach them where they need to look then it’s up to them. And about grace. Our job is to teach them where they need to look. Then have faith and allow Hf to do the miracle of shaping our children. -Bishop Brown

• I don’t need to worry. Point my boys to Christ. Teach them. And then, step back and observe the miraculous hands of God grant trials and blessings that shape them into men that He can call His own. My job is not to save my children. My job is to point them to the only One who can.

• Counsel with your boys! Don’t compare them to any other family. Ask them what it is they want out of their childhood. Exposure to sports. Music. Friends. Play. What opportunities is it that they want? What really bothers them? What, as parents, can we do to help them? Where do they feel too much pressure from us? Help them to map out their own courses.
