Lessons learned from mom

How incredibly lucky we are to have the gospel of Jesus Christ in our lives. Don’t ever take it for granted.

Look for the good. It’s always there, but sometimes we might have to look hard for it. Count your many blessings. There was always something to be thankful for.

There is beauty all around. Fill your mind with good and positive thoughts. We are what we think.

Take care of yourselves. Early too bed, early to rise.

What goes around comes around. Pay it forward. Treat others how they want to be treated.

Commandments are blessings from Heavenly Father. Obedience to them brings blessings and a richness to our lives. Strict obedience brings miracles.

Believe in Jesus Christ and believe him. Believe in both the redemptive and the enabling power of the atonement.

Believing in all things will work out for your good. Believe in better days to come. Trust in the Lord, his timing, and his will. Believe all things are for our good. Know that even though it might not look so, everyone struggles with things.

We are never more like a savior than when we are serving others. We are happiest and most fulfilled on serving, lifting and connecting with others.

Work hard, play hard, play hard. Life is good to those who work. There is a price for everything. Set goals and believe that you can reach them. Then work for them.

People are good. There are always things to appreciate in them. We learn to love those we serve and understand. Pray for charity.

God answers prayers. Ask and believe. The power of the priesthood is both real and a huge blessing.

Learn the language of the spirit, have an eternal perspective, and drama power of prayer.
