Purpose: expand vision and help motivate. 

Endowment: powerful and positive influence 

Temple: ‘the reason the gospel was restored was for the temple.’ -joseph smith

Everything goes back to the temple. 

Very first words from Moroni: “I will reveal unto you the Priesthood, by the hands of Elijah.” D&C 84:19-25 “power of godliness” = ability to save and exalt, to sanctify and become like unto Him; to enter His presence. 

Endless repetition: instructive, unrepentant 

Qualified for exaltation. 

Book: “An early resurrection” live as though you’re already resurrected by taking families and everyone else to the temple. This should change the way we look at others and ourselves. 

D&C 128:9 true & faithful 

Symbols: book: “Gospel Symbolism”

Timeless and universal language. Enrich, deepen, and enhance understanding. 

Goal of every ordinance is to bring us back into the presence of HF through the atonement of our Savior. 

Sacrament:

Officiators (priests)

Altar (Sacrament table)

Blood offerings (type)

Witnesses (Bishop, congregation)

Baptism (sign of willingness & commitment)

Emblems/ tokens of the Savior (bread & water)

Cloth/ veil (once it’s removed we are in the presence of Christ)

Officiators (deacons) proffer us 

When you partake of the Sacrament, you renew ALL the covenants you have made with the Lord. Reviewing ALL of them during that time).

Hebrews 10:20

-Good things take time & careful planning. 

-All things are created 1st spiritually, and then temporal D&C 29:32

-Reports are a part of the gospel; giving an accounting. 

-Christ is first. Our relationship and dependence upon him & our personal purity come before consecration of all. Proper order. 

-the Veil

-the House of the Lord is not “fun,” entertaining, pleasurable, or where most people want to just hang out. In the Temple people come as they are but they leave better. It’s not the “video game & junk food house.”

I want people to feel warm, welcome, wanted, loved, and better in and after being in our home. 

-Pattern for our home. Simple. Clean. Peaceful. Orderly. Calm. Not trying to do too much. Restful. Blocks out the cares and worries of the world. Music. Purity. Light. 

-Power. Strength. Protection. Clarity. Love. 

Peace. Less is more (simplify to do list and desired tasks). 

-I need more scriptures and Christ pictures throughout my home. 

5/28 “Not everyone likes to go to my house either”

But that’s not it’s purpose. Those who do like to go there absolutely love and reverence it; I have noticed that not everyone likes to come to our house because when we have friends over we don’t do video games I don’t feed them junk food. Additionally, expect friends to be nice to each other in our house. Another words, we’re not the unsupervised party house. 

What is it that you want? 

I am looking for more light and knowledge from my father. (laser sharp and precise answer/ knows exactly what he wants)
